Halloween special: what do you do with your old chisels?

My new Two Cherries chisels arrived today, and I'm excited to give them a go. Unfortunately, I had a more pressing project--and the medium was not wood.

Now, my friends know that I'm apolitical. The last thing I ever want to do is argue with someone about politics. So if you're a supporter of the current administration, please regard this as an homage to our president.

If not, please regard this as the scariest jack-o-lantern that I was capable of carving.

For step-by-step "how to" instructions (and see far more impressive examples of the art than my humble attempt), check out this article.

I've been reading your blog here for awhile now and appreciate the time you put into it, but don't understand how an apolitical person takes the time to find these pictures, build the animation, post it on their site, and then forget to address the original title of the post. btw, I ordered those chisels and hope they work out well. Have you looked into building a cyclone dust collection unit?

Thanks,
Scott

Ah! I may have been a bit vague in my original post.
1) Re: finding the pictures, I actually *took* them. Meaning I wasted probably three times as much time as you estimated, since actually carving the damn thing was a prerequisite to taking the pictures.
2) Re: an apolitical person, remember the delicate yet incomprehensible strain of irony that occasionally flavors my weblog.
3) Re: the original title of the post, how do you think I carved the beast?
and finally
4) Dust collection for my shop is on my to-do list, and I will definitely post about it when I get there.
