Missives from overseas

Within a few months of arriving at Microsoft, I got shipped off to Tokyo to meet with six hardware companies. I documented the parts of the trip that stood out most for me in a series of emails.  Unfortunately, there are no pictures to go along with. Keep in mind that this was my first time overseas, so there may be some extreme culture shock reflected in my writings.

My next sojourn overseas was for WinHec Asia '98 to Taipei.  I had some pictures from this endeavor, but I'll be damned if I can find them.  In any case, the rantings survived for your perusal.

While on the Windows 2000 team, I made a mega-trip overseas.  First was a week in Tokyo working on the Mt Fuji command specification for DVD.

After I got back from Japan, I flew to New Zealand and Australia for a week each for TechEd '99. Roving Down
